Expressions of Interest
This request for expressions of interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in Development Business No. 1704 of 16.06.2007, (posted online 30.05.2007)
The Fund for National and Regional Roads (FNRR) has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for Consultancy services: Supervision of construction of Motorway E-75, section Tabanovce-Kumanovo, km. 0+764.70 - km. 8+388.43 (L=7.62 km).
The services include:
Complete expert supervision of construction of the motorway E-75, section Tabanovce – Kumanovo (7.4 km), including construction of one new carriageway and widening of the existing carriageway. Conditions of the contract for construction: FIDIC. Time period of the consultancy services is expected to be 23 month. The number of the key personnel of the consultancy services is 4 experts. The time period for the execution of the construction works is 18 months.
The Consultants have to satisfy at least the following minimum requirements:
a) Consultancy services in the field of civil engineering shall be the main activity of the Consultant,
b) At least one project as an Engineer on construction of motorway in the last 5 (five) years, according FIDIC Conditions of Contract,
c) Minimum 20 permanently employed experts with university education in various fields of the civil engineering.
The Fund for National and Regional Roads now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicated that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004.
